Hold on Folks… JoomStew is About to Rock!

JoomStew Radio has seen quite a bit of growth over the past year. Amy Stephen and myself started out doing a series of shows on The Art of Community by Jono Bacon last Spring that was a huge success. Then Amy took some time off, and Alice Grevet came on-board and we kicked off a series of shows on Joomla Templates and Joomla Extensions that have been really popular as well.

Recently, JoomStew has been going through some changes to it's show schedule, and with it we've added our NewsBrief episodes that offer interviews with various Joomla! Community members. This has been a great addition to the schedule, but it's become double and sometimes triple the workload for Alice and myself.

Don't get me wrong, we love what we do, but with our day jobs and other commitments in and around the Joomla Community, it can become too much for us to handle on a weekly basis. That's why we've missed some episodes here and there.

So we are excited to announce, we are expanding our pool of talent, with the addition of Dianne Henning to the JoomStew Radio lineup!

That's right… Dianne will become our News Anchor on the weekly JoomStew Radio podcast, and in addition, will pick up some of the NewsBrief interviews that will be coming to you on a regular basis as well. We'll trade off doing interviews and such, and see where it will go from there.

Personally, I'm really excited to see the JoomStew family growing, and it's solely because of our great listeners who keep stopping by week after week.

We're working on some things that will hopefully make visiting our website a better experience for you, and also allow us to showcase some of the great extensions we talk about on our show as well!

Listen for Dianne, Alice and myself this week on our first episode together as we interview Stian Didriksen to talk about the Ninjaboard Forum Component and Nooku Framework. More news about that later today!

Welcome aboard Dianne, and look out Joomla World... JoomStew is about to Rock!

An avid Joomla! supporter, Robert Vining spends most of his days developing cool new joomla websites for clients of Roberts Web Design, answering questions as a Sobi2 Support Team member for the Sobi2 Directory Component, mingling with cool Joomla folks as an Admin at All Together As a Whole and co-host the JoomStew Radio Show about the community happenings in and around Joomla.
